Hi guys, Great Fly-In to Chino (CNO) this on Jan 16. The weather was terrific, smooth and you could see forever... even in the Los Angeles Basin. Very unusual and nice for a change. We had thirteen people in five planes make this one. Dennis from SDM in an RV3. From SEE, Jeff C, Jerry & Fred in a 172 and also Robert, Dick, Don, Roger & Bill in a 337. And from MYF Bret & Jeff P in a 172 and Jim & Tony in a 172. And amazingly, we all landed at CNO within five minutes of each other. At Flo's Restaurant we found a dozen people waiting to go in. But the 20 minute wait wasn't too bad considering all the people in front of us. Plus they had to set up on long table for thirteen. The food was good and the service was good in spite of the restaurant being packed. Bret Strain was our photographer and will send the pictures of our Webmaster, Chris Claborne, who'll put them on our website. There was lot's of fun and camaraderie at our long table with everyone was hangar flying on just about every subject in aviation. Before leaving Flo's, we decided our next Fly-In will be to Rosamond (L00) on Sun, Feb 20. This place has an EXCELLENT Mexican buffet. I'll have more info on L00 about the 2nd week of February. So mark your calendar. Best of clear skies and tailwinds, Tony Tex
