Hi Guys,

We had a nice turn out of twenty people in seven planes for the Nov 13th
Fly-In to Chiriaco Summit (L77).

Flying from SEE in a C-210 was Russ & Bert Bade; in a Comanche was Andy
Silver & Todd McLelland; in a C-172 was Jeff & Ryan Cary & Lucas Kennedy;
and in a C-337 was Robert Werve, Don McManus, Tony Pearse, Frank Garza &
Richard Grothen.

And flying out of MYF in a C-172 was Michael Schmied & Chris Maier; in a
C-177RG was Chris Claborne and Matt & Lucas Kennedy; and in a c-172 was Bret
Strain, Jerry Jackson and Tony Tex.

Once again the Weather Buddha smiled upon us with severe clear weather and
smooth air and we all arrived at L77 within a half hour of each other. Even
the usual gusty winds at L77 were relatively calm.

At L77's small restaurant we took up five tables along the entire West side
of the restaurant. With that many folks strung out on one side of the
restaurant it was tough to get everyone in a picture. But some guys took
shots of individual tables. However, we got together in the patio in front
of the mini-sized, official, Chiriaco post office for a group picture.
Pictures will be sent to our Web Master, Chris Claborne, who'll get them on
our website.

After the "photo op" we did more hangar flying over breakfast and decided
the next Fly-In would be to Apple Valley (APV) on Dec 11th.

We finished the day off with a walk around the tanks outside General
Patton's Museum and then inside the Museum to see the General's memorabilia
and other WWII items on display.

It was an enjoyable Fly-In with terrific weather to match.

Hope to see you all again for the Nov 11th Fly-In to APV. Our alternate will
be Santa Paula (SZP)

Best of clear skies and tailwinds,

Tony Tex
